The After-Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical support & maintenance services to clients after the installation of solar energy systems. This role ensures optimal system performance, customer satisfaction, & long-term relationship management through prompt and efficient post-installation services, troubleshooting, & inspections.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect installed solar systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with design standards.
- Conduct system commissioning, including performance testing and verification of energy output.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for troubleshooting system faults and failures.
- Handle warranty claims, liaise with manufacturers, and ensure timely resolution of product issues.
- Schedule and perform routine maintenance visits to inspect clean, and test system components.
- Document all service activities, maintenance reports, and client communications.
- Train end users on system operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
- Maintain a service log and track performance data for continuous system improvement.
- Respond to customer complaints, inquiries, and service requests within agreed timeframes.
- Recommend system upgrades or improvements where necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar PV system installation, maintenance, or technical support.
- Solid understanding of solar PV components including inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of design Software ( Pvsyst , Homepro, Helioscope, Open Solar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and testing instruments used in solar PV systems.
- Certification in solar PV installation or maintenance.
- Experience with hybrid and off-grid solar systems.
- Proficiency in using system monitoring platforms and diagnostic software
- Knowledge of lithium battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role with strong troubleshooting capability.
