Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Handle all daily financial transactions, including payments, receivables, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws (VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.)
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions
- Maintain up-to-date accounting records and documentation
- Support budgeting, cash flow analysis, and internal financial controls
- Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ICAN/ACCA certification or progress toward certification is an added advantage
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a tech or service industry
- Solid knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulatory standards
- Proficiency with accounting tools like QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Sage
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and accountability
