Role Description

The Accountant at Deslog Training & Consulting will handle financial reporting, bookkeeping, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with budgeting and financial analysis. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Port Harcourt.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and preparing financial statements
• 5 years Experience in bookkeeping, managing accounts payable/receivable, and tax compliance
• Strong working knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) are a plus
