Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports (daily, monthly, and yearly)
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial planning
• Prepare financial statements,      including profit & loss accounts and balance sheets
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Handle payroll processing and related deductions
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when required
• Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Wave, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
