Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Development of content management strategy for all Media Channels
- Development and implementation of the content calendar for all Channels
- Liaise with our Photographers and videographers to produce appropriate content
- Create/curate content (photo, video, audio, text, graphics) for the various platform
- Manage our online presence by creating and updating social media profiles.
- Upgrading the existing Social media channels and websites to ensure compliance with the brand and acceptable industry standards
- Creating high-quality, original content.
- Curating excellent and relevant content for our audience
- Making regular text, photo, video, audio (podcasts) and graphic posts, through our pages, blogs, channels, stories, etc.
- Building and managing our online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement
- Responding to comments on each of our accounts.
- Analysing usage data on the various channels and making tweaks and improvements to improve engagement and reach
- Engaging with target market pages
- Creating weekly status reports to report work done, and the performance across our channels and suggest ways we can improve based on data gathered.
- Develop a system for capturing customer reviews and publishing, those of happy/loyal customers
- Monitor online reviews and respond to each review promptly and with care.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
- Develop the company’s digital marketing plan with Management, and implement same.
- Create and manage relevant online Ads Campaigns
- Analysing the effectiveness of Ads Campaigns and using the data gathered to build the next Ad Campaign effectively.
- Respond to and follow up on enquiries made via our social platforms
- Regularly updating information on our website to ensure it is always up-to-date
- Create and manage an online store linked to the website
- Keep the company blog content up-to-date'
- Ensure yearly subscriptions for domain and hosting are done as when due.
- Creating graphic templates consistent with the brand look and feel across all our online platforms
- Ensuring that all content published on our channels is brand compliant
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communication or Marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years of Hands-on experience in content management
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
