Tender Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit technical and commercial tender documents within specified deadlines.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and pricing schedules.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material, labour, and equipment costs.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to obtain pricing and technical information.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness.
• Maintain tender records and support contract negotiations where required.
• Identify project risks and propose cost-effective solutions during the tendering stage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in tender preparation, estimation, and BOQ development.
• Previous experience in MEP or construction projects is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tendering processes.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict submission deadlines.
