Social Media Specialist/Content Creator

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage social media editorial calendars and schedules
• Create and publish engaging contents (write ups, videos, still pictures etc.) for posting on all social media platforms.
• Optimize the company's pages on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to increase the company's visibility on the platforms.
• Work with Product Champions to generate contents for daily broadcast on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn platforms
• Regularly design and dispatch newsletters, promotions and social campaigns (create and upload videos etc.)
• Facilitate instore events and provide snippets/ edited video of the sessions
• Consult with Sales & Purchases department on new products to give special highlights  on the social media platforms.
• Ensure daily dispatch of customer birthday greetings via spread-the-word platform
• Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website and brick & mortar
• Optimize the company's presence on various search engines (SEO) e.g. google, ask.com etc. through the use of appropriate keywords and hash tags.
• Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention and build followership on the handles
• Ensure electronic version of the company's publications available online
• Use appropriate content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics.

Requirements:

• Minimum academic qualification of HND degree in any discipline
• 4 years of working experience
• Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other social media best practices
• Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Outstanding multitasking skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
