We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee our company’s presence across social media platforms. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, analyzing performance metrics, and growing our online community to support brand awareness, and engagement.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Create, curate, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Manage the social media content calendar and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor SEO, user engagement, and web traffic metrics.
  • Respond to comments and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, tools, and trends.
  • Use social media analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Coordinate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and external agencies as needed.
  • Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns (e.g., Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads).


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to produce visually appealing content.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprinklr).
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with paid social media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and UGC strategies.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Remuneration: NGN 100,000

Working Condition: Flexible hours depending on campaign schedules and content timelines.
