The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to build brand awareness, engage with the target audience, and drive business growth. The candidate will manage various social media platforms, create content, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with teams to achieve marketing and communication goal.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Identify and prioritize key social media platforms that best suit the company's goals and audience demographics.


Content Creation and Management:

  • Create engaging and compelling content for social media platforms, including but not limited to text posts, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule and timely delivery of content.


Community Engagement:

  • Monitor social media channels and promptly respond to comments, messages, and mentions, engaging with the audience in a genuine and personable manner.
  • Foster a positive online community by encouraging discussions and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.


Social Media Advertising:

  • Develop and implement paid social media advertising campaigns to promote products, services, and events, ensuring effective targeting and budget management.
  • Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns to achieve desired outcomes.


Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze social media metrics and performance to assess the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
  • Generate regular reports showcasing key insights, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement.


Influencer and Partnership Management:

  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers and industry partners to expand the brand's reach and increase engagement.


Trend Monitoring:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure the brand's presence remains fresh and relevant.


Brand Voice and Consistency:

  • Maintain and promote the company's brand identity and voice across all social media platforms.


Crisis Management:

  • Handle social media crises and negative feedback professionally and diplomatically, following the company's established guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of HND degree in any related discipline
  • 1 - 2 years of working experience
  • Good knowledge of social media algorithm.


Location: Lekki, Lagos


Remuneration: NGN 100,000
