Responsible for co-generating Wigwe University brand, sales & marketing/events strategy; driving cross-national and foreign students' recruitment as required. Ensure students and prospects are well informed across all aspects of University lifecycle (research, application, acceptance, student life, alumni), via various marketing methods/tools

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Planning and Organizational Strategy:
- Directing and organizing Wigwe University launch campaigns, conferences, and other activities
- Building plans making sure creative and content are aligned with the Wigwe University strategic objectives
- Coordinate ideas for future programs and campaigns• Coordinate and implement strategic ideas to attract students to Wigwe University locally and internationally
- Promote and assign marketing team members according to Wigwe service categories within areas of focus in specified locations
- Plan, initiate, implement, and manage all Wigwe student recruitment & marketing activities in the organization and reported to the CMO
- Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve defined business growth objectives across all channels
- Lead brand development including messaging, talking points, copy, brand guidelines, marketing collateral, etc., amongst other functions
Marketing Communication:
- Collaborate with relevant units & departments to formulate and administer policies to ensure the integrity of the University’s communications and shape public perception
- Keep informed on developments in the fields of marketing and communications, not-for-profit management and governance, and the specific business of the University, and use this information to help the institution operate with initiative and innovation
- Reflect, articulate, and promote the mission, vision, and identity of Wigwe University
- Responsible for creating, implementing, and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance Wigwe University’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications
- Implement the strategic and creative design of Wigwe University marketing and communications activities and materials including Admissions/Enrollment Management, Website(Social Media, and video production), Wigwe University Online, Institutional Advancement, Conference Services, Media Relations, and Vice Chancellor’s Office
Marketing Campaign:
- Utilize the Campaign marketing budget to maximize awareness/conversions through brand response campaign activity
- Work with a variety of stakeholders (Wider Marcoms team, Colleges & other departments), to ensure & deliver a program of marketing activity that grows awareness / generates sales across:
- Acquisition campaigns (key periods)•Retention
- Cross-selling
- In reach/outreach marketing• Develop policing protocols to ensure the accuracy of brand delivery across all facilities & programmes•
- Identify future needs/opportunities to maximize brand awareness /conversions
- Conduct analysis to evaluate success/opportunities to improve (ongoing test learn to refine)
Result & Reporting/ Training Supervision:
- Utilise data through a variety of data sources (Google Analytics, sales, customer focus groups, and other sources) to assess / improve•
- Review the reporting mechanisms to the wider business to report on campaigns / results•
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to assess internal effectiveness / identify future opportunities
- • Conduct quarterly/monthly reviews to ensure the delivery of marketing projects against targets
- • Provide overall guidance, leadership, and strategic direction to the Marketing team, interns, and students
- • Evaluate the training requirements of subordinates and discuss/ agree on training needs with the HR & Admin Department• Provide on-the-job training as well as coaching and mentoring to subordinates, trainees, and students volunteers
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Communications or a related field (Bachelor’s degree required)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible higher education communications/marketing experience in an enrollment management environment or related experience
- Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing Certification will be an added advantage
- Expertise in branding, social media, mobile marketing, marketing analytics, CMS software, social listening software, market research, web design, SEO strategy, and search ads
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and experience writing for multiple mediums
- Experience in leveraging new technologies to maximize student engagement.
