As a Product Marketing Manager at BuzzBite, you will play a pivotal role in growing the brands and influencers signed up on our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will shape the marketing initiatives that attract brands, engage influencers, and ensure their ongoing satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and implement user acquisition strategies tailored to the African market, with a primary focus on Nigeria.
- Create compelling messaging, value propositions, and marketing collateral to effectively communicate the unique benefits and value of BuzzBite's platform to brands and influencers.
- Identify and leverage relevant marketing channels, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and email marketing, to reach and engage target audiences.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to gain a deep understanding of the influencer marketing landscape in Nigeria, analyze competitor strategies, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, agencies, and influencers, serving as the main point of contact and guiding them through the onboarding process.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to provide insights and feedback that contribute to the development and enhancement of BuzzBite's platform.
- Utilize data analytics and tracking tools to monitor user behaviour, measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, and optimize marketing efforts for maximum impact.
- Identify and implement strategies to drive user engagement, increase retention rates, and foster long-term loyalty among brands and influencers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in influencer marketing to ensure BuzzBite's platform remains competitive and aligned with market needs.
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of proven work experience in product marketing, user acquisition, and growth strategies, preferably in the SaaS or digital marketing industries.
- Strong understanding of the influencer marketing landscape in Nigeria, with knowledge of the African market.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with brands, agencies, and influencers.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels, content creation, social media marketing, and email marketing.
- Analytical mindset with experience in leveraging data and analytics tools to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
