Job Summary

We are a women-focused NGO and have an opening for a Programs Partnerships and Grant Writing Officer to lead on the grant application process, while developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective funders and partners. Background in NPO/NGO/CSO space required.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy for engaging and sustaining clients, donors, and strategic partners
  • Develop Strategic Partnership Documents — Slides, Videos, Content, Graphics, etc — that assist in securing grants/donor funding and sponsorships
  • Supervise the Program Officer(s) in the design, execution, and sustainability of all Programs
  • Ensure that all programs are meeting their outlined sustainability and M&E Goals
  • Ensure that Content and Social Leads are aligned with Brand Promise and meet the expectations of program funders and sponsors
  • Develop quarterly reports that track the sustainability and impact of all donor-funded Programs and initiatives
  • Suggest new ways to establish/maintain partnerships with funders/donors/strategic partners.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in writing grant proposals, developing programs, and engaging with donors.
  • Excellent writing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and creating error-free content.
  • Ability to develop/design branded collateral — slides, videos, docs, photos, etc — aimed at securing partnerships with donors, funders, and sponsors.
  • Experience in Program Development and Execution.
  • Background in the civil society sector, international development, and social impact is required.
  • Proactive, Strategic, and Creative Thinker.
  • Team player  — willing to learn and collaborate.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and others.
  • Interest in women’s rights, feminism, LGBTQIA, and gender equality.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and provide direction to others.
  • Knowledge of online, digital, and content marketing.
