Responsibilities:
- Feed and water poultry according to farm schedules
- Monitor the health and behavior of birds and report any illnesses
- Clean poultry houses, pens, and surrounding areas regularly
- Collect eggs and handle them carefully to prevent damage
- Assist in vaccination, medication, and health management of birds
- Maintain proper records of feed, medication, and production
- Ensure biosecurity measures are followed to prevent disease
- Assist with the loading and unloading of poultry products
- Support senior farm staff in day-to-day farm operations
- Maintain farm equipment and tools in good condition
Requirements:
- Previous experience in poultry or livestock farming
- Knowledge of poultry care, feeding, and health management
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to handle manual labor
