The Membership and Engagement Officer is responsible for managing and growing the organisation's membership base while fostering meaningful engagement and strong relationships with existing members. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to attract new members, retain current members, and enhance their overall experience.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new members, including marketing campaigns, outreach efforts, and partnership initiatives.
- Identify and target potential member segments and demographics.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure the ongoing satisfaction and renewal of existing members.
- Monitor membership renewals and follow up on lapsed memberships.
- Create and oversee engagement programs and initiatives to enhance the member experience.
- Plan and coordinate member events, workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Communicate regularly with members through newsletters, emails, and social media to keep them informed of relevant news, events, and benefits.
- Respond to member inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate membership records and databases.
- Analyse member data to gain insights into engagement levels and preferences.
- Gather feedback from members through surveys and focus groups.
- Use feedback to improve membership offerings and engagement strategies.
- Track and report on membership metrics and KPIs.
- Use data to evaluate the success of engagement efforts and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or any medical-related field.
- Proven experience in membership management, customer engagement, or a related role in the healthcare industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills to interpret membership data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
