Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and supervise the installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, pumps, generators, and other building services.
• Monitor and ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all mechanical systems across projects and properties.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project teams during project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed according to standards and specifications.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and project progress reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical engineering issues during construction and facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Support project planning, budgeting, procurement, and cost control activities.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and contractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7–9 years of relevant experience, preferably within the real estate, construction, or property development industry.
• Registered membership with relevant professional bodies, such as the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, is mandatory.
• Additional professional certifications and memberships, such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers or other relevant engineering certifications, will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and building services engineering.
• Experience managing mechanical engineering projects from design through execution.
• Proficiency in engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Remuneration: NGN 850,000 – 1,200,000 Monthly
