Job Description/Requirements

The overall goal of the Marketing Supervisor is to:

• Deliver effective marketing programs that will help Park Vega’s reputation and growth.

• Have responsibility for all Park Vega’s marketing activities.

• Oversee the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.



Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends.
  • Build relationships with other corporate organizations to execute promotional events, campaigns and improve Park attendance numbers.
  • Develop sales strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Development and overall responsibility for the implementation of the Brand strategy.
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the existing and new service offerings.
  • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing Strategy- including but not limited to brand awareness, campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
  • Overseeing of the Company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by setting targets and providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
  • Guiding the day-to-day activities of the marketing and sales department.
  • Ensuring that the company’s marketing strategy is executed by the marketing department.
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization
  • Provide support for digital marketing: provide direction for social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organization
  • Lead and coach salespeople, assign sales territories and quotas.
  • Measure effectiveness of all marketing activities and campaigns.
  • Any other task that may be assigned.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years work experience as a marketing specialist or in a similar role.
  • Experience in Event and Hospitality Marketing.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in Event and Hospitality Marketing.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Ad words etc.).
  • Minimum of BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is an added advantage.
  • Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Interested candidates must be willing to relocate to Delta State.
