Marketing Officer

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and engagement.
• Assist in creating and executing marketing plans to support sales and brand visibility.
• Conduct lead generation and outreach initiatives to attract and retain new clients.
• Carry out basic market research to understand client needs and industry demands.
• Present and promote company products and services to potential clients.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure unified messaging across all touchpoints.
• Track and evaluate marketing activities to optimize performance and outcomes.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry functions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of marketing activities and client engagements in the CRM system.
• Provide feedback and insights to enhance marketing strategies and campaigns.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, HND, or OND in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related role, preferably in B2B or service-oriented industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of digital and social media marketing.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Attention to detail with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Creative thinker with the ability to contribute fresh ideas to marketing initiatives.
