Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: They analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitors to make informed decisions.
  • Strategic Planning: Marketing managers develop marketing strategies and set goals to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Product Development: They often collaborate with product teams to ensure products meet customer needs and are effectively marketed.
  • Advertising and Promotion: They oversee advertising campaigns, PR efforts, and promotional activities to reach the target audience.
  • Budget Management: They allocate and manage budgets for marketing activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Leadership: Marketing managers lead and coordinate marketing teams, delegating tasks and providing guidance.
  • Data Analysis: They use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Brand Management: Maintaining and enhancing the company's brand image is a crucial responsibility.
  • Digital Marketing: In today's digital age, they oversee online marketing strategies, including social media and email campaigns.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong customer relationships is essential for long-term success.
  • Market Expansion: Identifying opportunities for market expansion and growth is often part of their role.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring marketing practices comply with legal and ethical standards is vital.
  • Marketing managers are essential for driving a company's success by effectively promoting products or services to the right audience.


Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of BSc. degree in Marketing or related field
  • Marketing manager (2 - 4 years) Travelling experience 
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.


Remuneration: NGN 150,000
