Job Summary

As an Entertainment Manager at AfriGlow, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our music, event planning, and sports talent management divisions. This multifaceted position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of the entertainment industry, and the ability to foster relationships with artists, clients, and industry stakeholders

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

  • Identify, recruit, and manage a roster of talented musicians, artists, and sports personalities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the careers and visibility of the talent under management.
  • Negotiate contracts, endorsements, and other business agreements on behalf of talent.

Event Planning:

  • Lead the planning and execution of events, concerts, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event logistics.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for each event.

Music Production:

  • Oversee the music production process, from concept to release.
  • Collaborate with artists, producers, and recording studios to ensure the highest quality output.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and explore new opportunities for music production.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the entertainment industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, sponsors, and partners.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's presence and revenue streams.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals across various departments.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure the successful execution of projects.



Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent management, event planning, and/or music production.
  • Strong industry network and relationships within the entertainment sector.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of successfully managing teams.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
  • Travel may be required.
