Job Summary

The appointee will be responsible for identifying hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. The appointee will also monitor new and existing employees.

Job Description/Requirements

The duties and responsibilities of the appointee will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conducts employment related research and assists recruitment team with electronic and other methods of sourcing of qualified candidates.

  • Assists with customized screening and initial contact of applicants to determine qualification, experience and interest level.

  • Ensure successful development and implementation of recruitment projects and programs.

  • Represents and promotes organization to potential employers and applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting employers and applicant data.

  • Ensure compliance with implementation of HR policies, initiatives and systems.

  • Provide counseling and guidance on adherence to policies and procedures

  • Prepare job descriptions for old and new hires.

  • Oversees the administration of the office and liaises with other employees to carryout job task.

  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans and procedures.

  • Handle Payroll taking into account sick days and absences.

  • Prepare training and development plans and programs.

  • Ensure effective and consistent performance management processes.

  • Ensure effective management of disciplinary and grievance issues.

  • Maintain employee records (attendance, leave etc.) according to policy and statutory requirements.

  • Review, update applicant data in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Track data and run compliance reports via the applicant tracking system.

  • Schedule virtual appointments for applicants.

  • Assist with coordinating new hire onboarding processes.

  • Maintains human resources database and records.

  • Attends meetings and takes meeting notes.

  • Prepares human resources activity reports by assembling and compiling data.

  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping personnel data confidential.

  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by following policies and procedures.

  • Produce reports and minutes of human resources meetings and events.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Recruiting and interviewing skills.

Knowledge of relevant human resource functions.

Proficiency with manpower recruitment software.

Presentation skills.

Problem solving skills.

Excellent Customer service skill.


Excellent interpersonal skills.

Organized and detail-oriented.

Hands on experience with office machines (for example fax, printer etc.)

Knowledge of office management.

knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)


Minimum Qualification: Degree or equivalent.

Experience Length of Experience: 2 years’ experience in similar job function.

Minimum Age: 25 years.

Experience with Human resources and administrative procedures.

Familiarity with Phone, Zoom, Skype, and online meeting platform skills.

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point and Coral Draw etc.

Proficiency in commonly used Human Resources and job recruitment search engine software. 

Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures. 

Salary: Negotiable.
