Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos for the position of Head of Accounting. The Head of Accounting will oversee financial operations, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves leading the accounting team, managing financial reporting, developing financial strategies, and conducting in-depth financial analysis. The successful candidate will also handle budgeting, forecasting, and support executive leadership in decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Financial Statements, Accounting, and Financial Reporting
• Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Finance
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of applicable financial regulations and compliance standards
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or other relevant certifications are an advantage)
• Experience in global or emerging markets and the ability to adapt to different economic environments is a plus
