The Group Marketing Executive will be a pivotal leader within Homework Group, Africa, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that significantly increase sales revenue and elevate our overall brand presence, both online and offline. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving measurable results, fostering brand growth, and leading successful marketing initiatives across diverse channels.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and implement a robust group-wide marketing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, focusing on revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Sales Revenue Generation: Identify and capitalise on market opportunities to drive significant increases in sales revenue through targeted campaigns, lead generation, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Brand Development & Management: Champion the Homework Group, Africa brand, ensuring consistent messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning across all touchpoints.


Digital Marketing Excellence:

  • Oversee and optimise all digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and display advertising.
  • Drive website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates through data-driven strategies.
  • Manage and enhance the company's online reputation and presence.


Offline Marketing & Events:

  • Plan and execute effective traditional marketing campaigns (e.g., print, radio, outdoor advertising) where relevant.
  • Strategically manage participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Lead the development of compelling and relevant marketing content that resonates with target audiences across various platforms.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and inform marketing decisions.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum ROI.


Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Potentially build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team (if applicable to future growth).
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and other internal teams to ensure integrated strategies and seamless execution.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track marketing campaign performance, analyze data, and provide regular, insightful reports to senior management.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving sales revenue and brand growth.
  • Extensive experience in both digital and traditional marketing channels, with a strong understanding of current trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrable success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that have yielded significant business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the real estate sector in Africa is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM software, and analytics tools (e.g., Zoho, Google Analytics).
  • Creativity, innovation, and a passion for building successful brands.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 200,000
