Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist in geological field mapping and site investigations.
- Collect, label, and record rock, soil, and mineral samples.
- Support geological logging and sample preparation.
- Assist in maintaining geological databases and documentation.
- Participate in mineral exploration and resource evaluation activities.
- Prepare basic geological reports under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Senior Geologist.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Completed NYSC.
- Basic understanding of geological principles and mining operations.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
