Role Description The Finance Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ikeja, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and supporting budgeting and cash flow management. The Finance Officer will handle financial reporting for management, track expenses and revenues by route and client, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations. The position includes analyzing financial data to support decision-making, monitoring operational costs, and providing insights on profitability and efficiency. The Finance Officer will collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and leadership teams to support planning, address inquiries, and communicate financial performance clearly and consistently.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Reporting, with experience managing core accounting and finance functions.
• Candidates should possess solid expertise in Financial Statements, including preparation, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support operational and strategic decisions.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting financial information.
• Relevant academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet tools, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain-focused environments is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical and confidentiality standards.
