Job summary

The Enquiries & Admissions Officer will be the first point of contact for prospective students. This role is responsible for responding to enquiries, qualifying prospects, following up consistently, and supporting students through the application journey until they are ready for final processing. This role is ideal for someone who communicates well, enjoys helping people, and understands the importance of timely follow-up.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to student enquiries via WhatsApp, email, phone calls, social media, and website forms
  • Provide accurate information on study destinations, basic admission requirements, and application timelines
  • Qualify prospective students based on academic background, budget, destination, and intake
  • Schedule consultations and escalate serious applicants to the Business Development Manager
  • Guide students on required documents and next steps in the application process
  • Maintain and update enquiry and applicant records using  spreadsheets or CRM tools
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to reduce drop-offs
  • Track and report enquiry conversion progress weekly

Requirements:
  • Minimum of HND/BSc in any discipline
  • 1–3 years experience in customer service, admissions, education consulting, sales support, or a similar role
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conversations and follow up without reminders
  • Basic computer skills (WhatsApp Business, email, Google Sheets / Excel)
  • Interest in education and international study opportunities

Preferred (Nice to Have):
  • Previous experience in a study abroad agency or educational institution
  • Familiarity with UK, Canada, or Europe study routes
  • CRM or admissions processing experience
