Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support teaching, learning, and educational activities.
- Encourage children's participation, confidence, and creativity.
- Identify and promptly report safeguarding concerns in line with Foundational policies.
- Assist with community outreach and education programs.
- Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality when working with children.
- Work collaboratively with staff, teachers, parents, and other volunteers.
- Report writing and research skills.
Requirements:
- Have at least an HND or be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution
- Ability to work with a team.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work at least 3 days a week between 9.30 am to 3.00 pm.
- Be passionate and committed
- Be a resident of Lokogoma, Wassa, Burum, Takushara, Apo, Sherete, Garki, Gaduwa, or Galadimawa.
- Fluent in Hausa or Gbagyi - most preferred
- Good communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, reliability, and integrity.
- Previous experience working with children or in education is an advantage
