Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport staff, clients, and materials to and from assigned destinations in a timely manner.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal operating conditions.
- Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or incidents immediately to management.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
- Plan route schedules efficiently to optimize time and fuel usage.
- Exhibit professional behavior and provide courteous customer service at all times.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a professional driver.
- Valid and up-to-date driver’s license.
- Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.
- Good knowledge of regional road networks and traffic regulations.
- Ability to read maps, and use GPS.
- Strict adherence to traffic laws and company policies
- Physically fit and able to load and unload goods when necessary.
- Excellent time and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays if required.
