Job Summary
A creative and skilled digital/social media officer who is able to build and maintain a strong online presence for our event brand, drive online community engagements, and increased brand visibility and awareness. The task is to implement creative digital media engagement, and marketing strategies through owned, and paid social media accounts, paid ads, and the company’s website. As a digital/social media officer, you will develop original, and curated content, and suggest creative ways to promote our brand and attract more followers and clients. Ultimately, you should be able to tell great stories and increase online traffic, and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. A background in social media management for an event company, within the event industry in addition to fashion or beauty industries is strongly advised.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Attendance at all events and functions executed by the company.
- Timely and creatively crafted posting of event content on owned social media accounts.
- Design periodic social media campaigns aligned with business goals.
- Creation of relevant digital content that drives brand awareness and engagement on all digital channels.
- Promote our online presence, boost brand awareness, and maintain a strong and appropriate online company voice.
- Facilitate online conversations with followers, and respond to prospective client inquiries.
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering online traffic, and follower engagement metrics.
- Oversee creative layout for social media accounts.
- Run periodic digital media campaigns to attract prospective clients.
- Stay up-to-date with global digital media developments and news.
- Research audience preferences, and discover, report, and advise on trends.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
- Monthly digital/social media management reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a reputable university.
- Other relevant professional training certifications.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in Social Media/Digital Technology
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager in the event, and fashion or beauty industry.
- Proven expertise in working with multiple digital media platforms.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
- Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
- Multitasking and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
- Attention to detail.
- A good eye for photography and videography.
- Ability to work long hours including weekends.
- Good reporting, and presentation skills.
- Able to travel within Nigeria
Remuneration: NGN 180,000 - 220,000 Monthly
