Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop digital marketing strategies with business goals aligned with the company’s vision.
- Create digital content, including websites, blogs, articles, videos, etc, to educate, entertain, persuade and convert.
- Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels.
- Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to posts and developing discussions.
- Run daily social media and search engine optimization audits to ensure best practices are used.
- Oversee, plan, and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Asana, ClickUp, etc.
- Maintain SEO, regular keyword research, and other best practices.
- Create a unique brand identity online by setting targets to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Undertake audience research and analyze competitor activity
- Create, develop, launch, and manage visual concepts for new campaigns and competitions for promotional activities to improve customer engagement
- Create and monitor Ads marketing campaigns and coordinate with the graphics team to create engaging display ads.
- Manage a budget for social media activities.
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
- Increase the company’s sales through online marketing.
- Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a BSc degree in Marketing or a similar field.
- 2+ years of proven work experience as a Digital Marketing / Social Media Specialist
- A solid understanding and proven experience using a range of social media platforms and content marketing, particularly concerning advertising/branding and customers
- Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques.
- A portfolio mentioning the projects undertaken so far would be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in digital marketing software and design graphics using Photoshop, canvas and other design tools
- Video Editing and Photoshop Skills
- Knowledge of basic HTML and web publishing.
- Quality content generation and creative skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimization
- Online community management and customer service skills
- Effective leadership and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
