Position descriptionJob titleCommercial and Marketing Manager M/F Contract typePermanent Contract Roles and responsibilities MissionThe objective of this role will be to:To coordinate the overall marketing and commercial activity for the BINL fleet.Implement and manage compliance of marketing proceduresProvide strategic and analytical insight to relevant stakeholders during pricing decision for offerEnsure the Bidding process for all tenders are fully compliant with client / charterer requirementsConduct Market AnalysisMarketing of all BINL vesselsKnowledge of BINL competitors and clientsPromoting the brand of the organization in all dealings within the Marine Community /clientsResponsibilities:Client Relationship ManagementManage and support Business development for the top clientsTo plan, organize and manage procurement/purchasing life cycle when required, particularly the Guide and Coordinate pricing and contract strategiesQuality control for marketing and business development Marine services guidelinesCommunicate and negotiate with clientContract follow up with clientsTeam ManagementCoordinate offshore division upstream and marketing information sourceMarketing Analysis intelligence, competitor profiling awareness and reportingEnsure and monitor proper execution and compliance to the tendering and offer database processEnsure availability of Client Activity/Competitor/ Market Driver reports.Undertake market analysis and generate presentations on a case by case basisCollect, Coordinate analyze and collate demand for areaDevelop, Coordinate and Manage and follow up end to end tender /offer processMaintain updated Rate calculation databaseEnsure completion of all bids, ensuring accurate advise on tendering strategyRisk assessment and advise on all potential tendersEnsure information flow among affiliates in territory/stakeholders in their scopeProvide strategic pricing and market rate analysis for offshore divisionSupport the formulation and issuance of offers in your scope of responsibilityProvide leadership support to teamSupport development plan for all BINL Surfer vessels as directed by SBMIdentify and follow up contract acquisition opportunitiesEstablish, Manage and process the budget of the FCB operations and check expenses incurred by support departments on behalf of SBMCoordinate the development of new Surfer business opportunities Qualifications, Skills and Experiences BSc degree or HND in a Social Science or Market related discipline8 years experience or more in a Marketing role with 5 years I a managerial or supervisory capacityA Master’s degree in Business or Marketing will be considered an assetAdditional related Certificates and/or diplomas will be considered an added advantage Required Competencies• Marketing• Business Performance & Business Management• Budgeting• Communication• Customer Relationship Management• Data Analysis• Innovative Idea and Creativity• Legal• Negotiation• Networking• Risk Management• Stress Management • Marketing• Tendering
