Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Live Feeds: Detect suspicious behaviour, unauthorised access, or security breaches via live CCTV.
- Incident Response: Promptly respond to alarms, emergencies, and unusual activities, coordinating with security officers and emergency services.
- System Maintenance: Maintain CCTV systems, ensuring cameras function properly, and reporting any faults.
- Documentation: Log all activities, observations, and incidents accurately in the control room record.
- Investigation Support: Retrieve, review, and provide accurate, timely footage for investigations.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the security and confidentiality of all surveillance footage and information.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Higher Education or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a CCTV Operator or in security operations is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert for long periods.
- Basic knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Integrity, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
- Commitment: Must be willing to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
