Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration (HVAC-R) and Industrial Gases

located in PARIS La Défense or BRUSSELS

In a changing environment, the management of the HVAC-R and Industrial Gases category is at the heart of ENGIE's ambitions for its Global Business Units ENERGY SOLUTIONS, FLEXIBLE GENERATION and NUKE.

With a double report to both Head of Procurement (HOP) of GBU Energy Solutions and Group category Director (GCD) Equipment & Services, in Group Procurement Division, Within an eco-system composed of internal and external stakeholders and with the help of his/her category team (entity lead buyers and lead users in charge of the category),

the Group Category Manager defines and implements the performance strategies of his/her categories in order to meet the needs of ENGIE.

He /She guarantees the optimization of external spend in HVAC-R and Industrial Gases, the achievement of operational and economic performance and helps to increase the visibility of the Purchasing function within and outside the Group.

The main missions carried out by the HVAC-R & Industrial Gases Category Manager consist in :

- Define and implement the group's purchasing strategy, with a good understanding and analysis of internal needs with the different key stakeholders (GBUs, Entity Sales, Design offices, Category lead Buyers, experts,...).

- Manage functionally and animate a category team composed mainly of lead buyers and lead users (operational representatives, technical experts,â¦)

- Define the Category Lead Buyer's objectives, in close collaboration with their hierarchical manager.

- Develop and strengthen relationships with preferred suppliers of each category to capture the best innovative solutions, avoid any shortage situation, mitigate price increases and organize strategic resourcing.

- Include carbon neutrality aspects and all CSR elements to challenge or qualify new preferred suppliers on the HVAC-R & industrial Gases categories.

- Ensure the performance of the category by using all possible advanced levers to achieve operational and economic performance objectives, CSR compliance, decarbonation plan,â¦

- Make sure performance targets of the category are reached.

- Develop a strong network of internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Operations, Engineering, Business Development, Design Offices, Suppliers, Peers...) and deliver strong added value to business.

- Contribute to increasing the visibility and added value of procurement inside and outside the Group

Profile searched:

With a business school/ engineering school or university education, you have a significant experience of more than 10 years in procurement in this type of position. Experience and knowledge in Supply Chain will be a real plus.

Technical knowledge on Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration is key on this position and will help to build trust with both operational stakeholders in ENGIE and external supplier contacts.

With a very good relationship to adapt to various stakeholders, both internal and external, a natural ability to work in a team, your dynamism, your natural leadership to convince in complex and evolving international environments, your keen sense of work well done, your rigor and your ability to be result oriented, are soft skills that will allow you to succeed in your mission.

Written and Spoken French and English mandatory(negotiation and conflict resolution).
