Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our software development agency's growth initiatives. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving overall business expansion.

Job Description/Requirements


Strategic Planning and Sales: 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Implement effective sales strategies, staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients, understanding their unique needs to provide tailored solutions.

Lead Generation and Pipeline Management:

  • Proactively generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the sales team for lead qualification and conversion.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance service offerings.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements supporting business objectives.

Client Acquisition:

  • Lead high-level client engagements and presentations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop compelling proposals and solutions.

Market Positioning:

  • Contribute to the development of market positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and reputation.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets related to business development activities.
  • Monitor financial performance against targets and implement corrective measures.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, Role: Business Development Manager and motivate the business development team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the department.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in, sales, or a related leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development industry and market trends.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Track record of achieving and exceeding business development targets.
