Job Summary

We seek an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our greyboards, and other range of paper products, managing customer relationships, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the company. The candidate will also play a pivotal role in driving growth, expanding our client base, and identifying new business opportunities. This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals to achieve our business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the paper mills industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in marketing and sales.

Job Description/Requirements


Research Analysis Report:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential target markets.
  • Analyze market data and develop insights to drive business strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor industry news, developments, and emerging market trends.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, cold calling, and online platforms. Follow up on leads and convert them into potential clients.
  • Identify and evaluate potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.

Business Development Strategies:

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and organizational goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and pitch materials.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.


Sales and Deal Closure:

  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure profitable deals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as legal and finance, to ensure smooth deal closure.
  • Track and report on sales activities, targets, and results.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Analyze market data and provide insights to improve business strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Identify opportunities for product/service enhancements and innovation.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the paper mills industry.
  • Thoroughly understand the company's product line and be able to explain product features and benefits to customers.
  • Provide product training to customers when necessary.

  • This position is open preferably to a female candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of proven experience as a marketer or sales representative in the paper mills industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of paper products, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work as a team or independently, Upselling and Cross Selling available products. 
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and software
