The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will manage the warehouse team, oversee inventory control, ensure accurate and efficient order fulfilment, and maintain high standards of warehouse operations. Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to order supplies and manage stock replenishment.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve order-related issues.
- Handle day-to-day operations, including receiving goods, organizing stock, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and efficient storage.
- Develop and manage the warehouse and logistics budget.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality control of incoming goods.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations and logistics.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in operations.
- Identify potential risks in warehouse and logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Implement best practices and industry standards.
- Develop and implement training programs for warehouse staff.
- Stay updated with industry trends and provide ongoing training.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Ensure staff are trained and prepared for emergencies.
- Implement environmentally friendly practices in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Work towards reducing the carbon footprint and promoting sustainability.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Prepare for and facilitate external audits as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- BSc, Degree in a relevant course of study
