Job Summary

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will manage the warehouse team, oversee inventory control, ensure accurate and efficient order fulfilment, and maintain high standards of warehouse operations. This role is crucial for keeping the smooth and efficient flow of goods, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the company's growth objectives.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to order supplies and manage stock replenishment.
  • Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve order-related issues.
  • Handle day-to-day operations, including receiving goods, organizing stock, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and efficient storage.
  • Develop and manage the warehouse and logistics budget.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality control of incoming goods.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Leverage technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in operations.
  • Identify potential risks in warehouse and logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement best practices and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for warehouse staff.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and provide ongoing training.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Ensure staff are trained and prepared for emergencies.
  • Implement environmentally friendly practices in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Work towards reducing the carbon footprint and promoting sustainability.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare for and facilitate external audits as required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience
  • BSc, Degree in a relevant course of study
