Technical Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Technical Operations team sits in the Distributed Energy Provider unit of Aspire Power Solutions. Its purpose is to ensure that our customers receive A Better Energy Experience through high-quality installations. A Better Energy Experience means you can trust Aspire to be reliable, affordable, and innovative. Aspire is always there to power your dreams. Beginning after the sales is completed by the business development team—sometimes designing products in collaboration with the business development team—technical operations includes planning installations, purchasing equipment, and installing energy solutions in a safe, reliable, and friendly manner. The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring all of these elements of the Technical Operations team are working safely, efficiently, and effectively. The Technical Operations Manager is responsible for executing an agreed-upon strategy for all technical operations within the company, as well as driving people engagement within the technical team and enabling them to deliver customer satisfaction at all times.

Job Description/Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee entire technical operations including technical resource planning & allocation, installation planning/delivery and sign-off
- Ensure prompt delivery of closed projects in line with agreed-upon SLAs and supporting post-installation service calls
- Guarantee adherence to required safety procedures, aligned budgets and performance metrics for the team
- Manage reporting, strategy development, and maintenance of policies and procedures that drive departmental growth, while also contributing to the company’s key objectives
- Interact directly with customers who have more sophisticated energy needs
- Co-ordinate and advocate for required training needs for technical personnel
- Ensure that required high-quality technical talent is sourced timely in liaison with the People Operations
- Create an enabling environment for the technical team to carry out their responsibilities in an efficient manner
- Leverage the Installer Collective to deliver projects in a cost and quality efficient manner
- Responsible for system designs for solutions between 20 – 50KW
- Engage in inter-departmental weekly/monthly planning meetings for review of progress towards achievement of business objectives

Qualifications:
BSc/HND holder
Previous experience working with Generators and/or Batteries & Inverters
Proficient ability to speak and write professional English
Good interpersonal skills developed by working in a similar or relevant role)
Comfortable using computers
Basic usage of Microsoft Office (emphasis on word, excel & PowerPoint)
