Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized storekeeper to manage our inventory and supplies at our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient stock levels, ensuring quality, and supporting seamless kitchen and service operations.

Job Description/Requirements


Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory items.
  • Regularly conduct stock checks to ensure adequate levels and prevent shortages.

Order Processing:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to place timely orders for kitchen and front-of-house supplies.
  • Verify received orders against invoices and report any discrepancies.

Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and ensure compliance with set standards.
  • Monitor shelf life and rotate stock to minimize waste.

Organization and Storage:

  • Arrange stock in a well-organized manner for easy retrieval and efficient use of space.
  • Implement FIFO (first in, first out) procedures to maintain freshness.


  • Work closely with kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary ingredients and supplies.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing team to optimize inventory levels.


  • Keep detailed and up-to-date records of inventory levels, orders, and supplier information.
  • Generate regular reports for management on stock status and any notable trends.

Waste Management:

  • Implement strategies to minimize waste and manage disposal processes responsibly.
  • Identify and address any issues contributing to unnecessary losses.


  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.

The candidate must live in Lekki or Ikoyi.
