Job Summary

Our client is a leading provider of IT services across Africa helping business, government enterprises utilize value-added services to efficiently drive processes, and improve across their respective activities. We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to fill this position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the sales department and understanding the customer’s needs and pitching the company’s products as suitable solutions. Predict future needs for product up sell, and cross sell other Products. Generating leads to divide among Sales Representatives.

  • Minimum Qualification : MBA / MSc
  • Experience Level : Executive level
  • Experience Length : 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets for assigned business line
  • Develop and expand sales pipes and revenue
  • Work in collaboration with service management team to ensure existing managed services are scaled
  • Establish guiding principles for managing performance, establish and prioritize critical performance measures for all sales activities
  • Provide leadership to the sales/business development team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behaviour
  • Communicate status, plans and campaigns regarding all aspects of sales and Business Development, and ensure up to date weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and opportunity report
  • Produce weekly and monthly sales engagement plan, outlining both ongoing and proposed activities, customer visits, revenue status, and revenue forecast
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver periodic report to management and colleague providing key business insights

 

Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other related disciple preferred.
  • Demonstrate track record of sales achievement in value-based selling roles
  • At least, 10 years’ experience as sales personnel in the IT/Tech space (Compulsory).
  • Experience in complex software consultative sales
  • Ability to articulate and deliver solutions-based selling techniques
  • Demonstrate track record of sales achievements in value-based selling roles
