As well as broadcasting on FM and online radio, we broadcast on social media and run events, and host stages at festivals. We are looking for an experienced Sales/Marketing Manager with a passion for music.

Job Description/Requirements

  • You will be able to lead a small team and be able to take on responsibility for a number of different tasks. 
  • Work closely with senior management and the rest of the team, sourcing commercial partners and developing marketing campaigns that will focus on growing our audience and creating more opportunities for businesses and guests. This is a position that requires someone who can develop new sales ideas, read analytics, and understands the goals of the organisation.

To be considered for this role you would have to have a proven track record of the following: 

  • Knowledge of the radio market, different station and program styles, and audience demographics.
  • Knowledge of media laws, regulations, and industry codes.
  • Existing marketing accounts/contacts or potential to build one in no distant time.
  • Creating and maintaining good relationships with the clients you work with to build their trust in you.
  • Experience in developing marketing and/ or communication strategies.
  • Working with the program director to manage our social media schedule in line with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Checking our engagement analytics to build and present reports to the management team
  • Understanding your client's business and being able to make a meaningful contribution
  • Not afraid to lead and take full ownership of projects working closely with planning creative and studio to get the work done on time, budget and to client satisfaction.
  • Working with external commercial partners, clients, and other agencies, as required, to build strong working relationships.
  • Working closely with FM/TV producers to manage ad approvals, production and playout of TV and radio commercials.
  • Nurturing direct reports - ensuring regular feedback and annual appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
  • Strong digital marketing and social media experience 
  • Experience using social media analytics and Google analytics
  • Computer literate 
  • Excellent Communication (Written/Verbal) 
  • Working in a team 
  • Experience using the Adobe Suite
