Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, provide actionable insights, and drive initiatives to achieve sales targets
  • Retail Operations: Manage day-to-day retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and store presentation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with brand policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure an exceptional in-store and digital shopping experience that reflects the brand’s image.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, aligns with brand standards, and showcases products to maximize sales potential.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share, including new territories, channels, customer segments and distribution channels.
  • Client Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, and retail partners to maximize sales and brand loyalty.
  • Implement CRM strategies to enhance customer loyalty and repeat business.
  • Product Development: Work closely with the design team to align new product offerings with market demands and business objectives.
  • Product Presentation: Oversee the presentation of collections to clients and partners, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the production and buying teams to optimize product availability.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
  • Market Analysis: Consistently conduct thorough market analysis and competitive research to inform strategic decisions and identify trends.
  • Market Research: Conduct periodic market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on business performance, market trends, and sales metrics to inform executive decision-making.
  • Formulation of marketing strategies and tactical plans including target market selection, message development etc.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute in-store events, private viewings and other sales-driving activities.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years in sales and business development, preferably within the luxury fashion or high-end retail industry.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to close deals and build lasting relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing and motivating sales teams.
  • In-depth understanding of the luxury womenswear market, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and relevant sales analytics tools.
  • Exceptional ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend events, and support sales activities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
  • Familiarity with and passion for luxury fashion; with a deep understanding of the industry trends and dynamics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as required.

Remuneration: NGN 300,000
