Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Chef for a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. The Restaurant Chef will be responsible for managing daily kitchen operations, preparing high-quality meals, ensuring hygiene and safety standards, supervising food service, and applying culinary expertise to create and innovate recipes. The role demands collaboration with team members to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Hygiene practices
- Strong skills in Cooking and Food Service management
- Expertise in Culinary Skills, including food presentation and menu innovation
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Ability to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3+ years preferred
- Culinary school certification or equivalent training is an advantage
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on culinary trends
