Product & Business Development Manager
Job summary
The Product & Business Development Manager is a cross-functional role that drives revenue growth, leads client and project execution, product teams to market needs. This person owns the full client lifecycle — from lead generation and proposal development through deal closure and on-the-ground project delivery.

Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business leads against a defined monthly target.
- Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and other channels with customized proposals and pitches.
- Schedule and deliver product demos and client walkthroughs.
- Draft, customize, and send proposals; negotiate and close deals.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date lead and pipeline tracker.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to support repeat business and referrals.
Client & Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end execution of client projects/events, including planning, scheduling, and on-site or on-delivery coordination.
- Manage guest lists, access control, vendor accreditation, and check-in workflows using the company's operating platform.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Maintain and follow project checklists across concurrent engagements.
- Produce post-project reporting and success metrics for internal review and client-facing case studies.
Marketing & Branding:
- Plan and execute a monthly content calendar across social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Develop and publish long-form content such as blog posts and case studies (target: 1–2 per month).
- Design or oversee creation of marketing assets, campaign materials, and client-facing decks.
- Track content engagement and campaign analytics; adjust strategy based on performance.
- Manage follow-up communications with prospects, RSVPs, and signups.
Product Development Support:
- Test new product features and workflows ahead of and during client engagements.
- Document bugs, usability issues, and enhancement ideas, and route them to the product/development team.
- Translate client feedback and real-world use cases into actionable product input.
- Participate in regular cross-functional syncs with sales, product, and marketing teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or project/event management.
- Demonstrated experience managing client relationships from pitch through delivery with proven results.
- Prior exposure to marketing execution (social media, content, campaign management) is a strong plus.
Skills and competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication; confident presenter and negotiator with proven outcomes
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines.
- Excellent ability to work across sales, operations, and marketing/product functions, meeting targets.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs and report on performance.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Client-facing professionalism, including on-site/event coordination when required.
