At Plant Haven, we provide our customers with the highest quality plants, expert advice, and customer service through our online shop. We are looking for an experienced plant shop supervisor. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a nursery or garden center, and a passion for plants.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery to ensure that it runs efficiently and profitably
Your role is crucial in creating an inviting and informative experience for our customers.
Plant Knowledge: Share your expertise in plant care, maintenance, and identification with customers. Assist in choosing the perfect plants for their space.
Repotting and Plant Design: Perform repotting, and plant care, and help customers design and arrange their plants to create stunning arrangements.
House Calls: Provide house call services, offering guidance on plant placement and care in customers' homes.
Social Media: Contribute to our social media presence by capturing and sharing the beauty of our plant offerings, and engaging with our online community daily. This includes being social media savvy, willing to be photographed on camera, and capturing Instagram stories to highlight new plants, products, and tips for our customers.
Store Maintenance: Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well-maintained, including regular plant upkeep.
Customer Interactions: Welcome customers, answer their questions, and offer expert advice on plant selection and care.
Plant Care Instruction: Instruct customers on how to care for their plants, ensuring they thrive.
Plant Restocking & Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory and stock of plants, based on sell-through trends.
Order online or in person, pick, and merchandise new plant stock from plant wholesaler.
Preparing budgets and managing financial records related to the operation of the nursery
Conducting research to identify new plant varieties that are best suited for specific environments
Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of plants and supplies
Requirements:
- Minimum academic qualification of a Diploma in any related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of proven work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and people skills
- Proficiency in using collaboration and productivity tools
