Driver

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport the client to appointments, meetings, and other designated locations.
• Safely transport school children during school terms, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off.
• Maintain strict adherence to assigned schedules while prioritising safety at all times.
• Ensure both the client's vehicle and the school bus are kept clean, neat, and presentable at all times, both internally and externally.
• Conduct daily routine checks on both vehicles, including tyres, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, battery, lights, windscreen wipers, and fuel levels.
• Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and ensure both vehicles are serviced promptly and regularly.
• Promptly report and follow up on any mechanical faults, repairs, or maintenance requirements to prevent operational disruptions.
• Ensure there are no lapses in vehicle maintenance, servicing, documentation, or roadworthiness.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, licence, roadworthiness certificates, and other statutory documents, remain valid and are renewed on time.
• Ensure vehicles are adequately fuelled and ready for use when required.
• Ensure both vehicles are always roadworthy, secure, clean, and in good operating condition.
• Take responsibility for the general upkeep and proper handling of both vehicles.
• Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and applicable safety requirements.
• Exercise discretion, professionalism, courtesy, and good judgment while carrying out assigned duties.
• Perform other driving or vehicle-related duties as may reasonably be assigned..

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' professional driving experience.
• Valid Nigerian driver's licence with a good driving record.
• Previous experience as a personal, executive, family, or school bus driver.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and traffic regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain vehicles in excellent operating condition through proactive care and timely servicing.
• Strong time management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
• Professional appearance, good communication skills, and a courteous attitude.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and routine inspections.
• Ability to work independently, follow schedules, and take initiative where necessary.

Additional Requirements

• Must provide at least one verifiable professional reference from previous employers.
• A proven history of safe driving, professionalism, reliability, and responsible conduct is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing within or around Isolo, Oke-Afa, Ejigbo, and surrounding areas, particularly due to the early morning start time.

Remuneration: NGN 100,000 Monthly
