Job Summary
- The Pastry Manager is responsible for overseeing pastry production, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation in baked products.This role requires strong technical baking expertise, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pastry production and ensure quality standards
- Develop and standardize recipes and processes
- Manage pastry team performance and scheduling
- Monitor inventory and control wastage
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Introduce new products and improve existing offerings
Requirements
- Formal training in pastry/baking or related field
- 3 years’ experience in pastry or bakery operations
- Strong leadership and production management skills
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
