Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospitality establishment and recreational center. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires strong managerial skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Job Description/Requirements


Operational Management:

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including facility maintenance, staffing, inventory management, and guest services.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as necessary.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to support their professional development.

Guest Experience:

  • Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure that guest needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner, striving to exceed expectations and maintain positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience.

Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage operational budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost-control measures.
  • Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities for revenue growth through strategic planning and implementation.
  • Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.

Health and Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, implementing appropriate measures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks, taking corrective action as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • An MBA will be an added advantage
  • Any relevant professional certification will be an added advantage
  • 8 - 10 years of proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on operations management.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards pertaining to hospitality and recreational facilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
