Responsibilities
- Transport personnel, goods, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Follow traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Plan routes to minimize delays and optimize fuel efficiency.
- Report accidents or incidents promptly to management.
- Comply with safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift/move objects and assist with loading/unloading cargo as needed.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of driving experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Good Fitness record for the job.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
- Should be a team player and culturally sensitive.
- Must reside in Maiduguri and speak the native languages of the community.
