Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company trucks to transport goods and equipment.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is roadworthy.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to assigned destinations.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the truck.
- Keep accurate delivery logs, trip records, and necessary documentation.
- Report mechanical faults, accidents, or delays promptly to management.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional truck driving experience.
- Valid truck driver’s license and necessary driving permits.
- Must know how to drive Scania and DAF trucks.
- Must be able to drive 10-tyre trucks and above.
- Good knowledge of Lagos and interstate road networks.
- Must be ready to travel to the Onitsha branch when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong awareness of safety standards and road regulations.
Location: Amuwo-Odofin, Lagos.
Remuneration: NGN 200,000
