Job Purpose/Mission
MySolGrid is seeking a Mini-grids Commercial Operations Manager to support Head of Mini-Grids Product and Commercial achieve successful commercial operations in all countries of operation. MySolGrid is currently operating in 5 countries preparing its scale up to increase its impact across more regions. The role will be responsible for supporting and overseeing successful commercial operations of all EEA’s mini grids in operation.
Responsibilities
Support country teams develop commercial initiatives to drive electricity sales, appliances sales and development of income generating activities using our energy services.
Onboarding the new commercial managers in different countries.
Develop the MySolGrid Customer-Journey and build intervention framework at different stages to be customized by countries.
Develop meaningful dashboards and relevant actionable interventions.
Lead the adoption of digital tools by Commercial Teams in the countries.
Designing campaigns across markets for revenue stimulation and leveraging on best practices replication across markets.
Co-develop the value proposition for Mini-grids and Solar Home Systems integration.

Knowledge and skills
Experience:
At least 4 years of experience in project management, data analysis and/or engineering background.
A passion for energy access and a willingness to pursue lasting impact.
A previous experience in mini-grids business is a strong plus.
Background or strong ability to quickly understand the technology and digital sides of the mini-grid business.
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills (English, French is a plus).
Entrepreneurial spirit, proactivity, and collaborative nature.
Self-organized and pro-active, with an ability to learn quickly and demonstrate recommendations through a rational, data-driven approach.
Commit to upholding high standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Demonstrate humility, honesty and flexibility.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in data analysis, commercial strategy, project management, engineering.
Language(s):
English
French is a plus.
Technology:
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products and basic IT knowledge required.
Salesforce, PowerBI or Tableau knowledge is a plus.
