Junior Architect

Responsibilities:

• Performs original design work utilizing specifications, sketches, and ideas on developing designs.
• Preparation of Job order
  
• Assists in compiling data for architectural plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.
  
• Assists in the preparation of plans for existing buildings where plans are not available.
  
• Assists in the preparation of scale drawing of details required for contract drawing.
  
• Assists in the preparation of design development drawings.
  
• Assists in the preparation of “record” drawings on completion of construction.
  
• Assists in the preparation of layout and drawing a preliminary sketch of the project to present to the client.
  
• Assists in developing and/or coordinating the development of detailed working drawings and specifications after approval for the project has been obtained.
  
• Assists with coordinating the bid process.
  
• Reviews shop drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction material recommendations submitted by outside architects and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notifies the Architect of any differences.
  
• Provides support to Architects and management staff.
  
• Occasional site visitation for confirmation of clients' request
  

Requirements:

• Proficient in the use of 2D/3D
• Preparation of Job order
  
• Must have an architectural background and degree
• Must have cladding, roofing, aluminum, and glass experience.
  
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools(Excel and word)
  
• The candidate must be able to produce 2d/3d drawings applications (AutoCAD /Rivet)
  
• Experience and understanding of window systems and composition, roofing solutions, partitions, curtain walls, cladding, automatic doors, and handrails.
  
• The candidate must have experience in Estimating
